Faster notes. Clear recaps. Less table stress.
Built for TTRPG GMs who want quick, session-first notes and a recap you can trust — for D&D, Pathfinder, and anything else you run at the table.
TableBuddy is a GM/DM note tool for tabletop RPGs. Write notes the way you already do, then quickly recall what mattered: NPCs, moments, and a recap you can start next session with.
Open the playtest app- Create a campaign + session
- Add 2 NPCs
- Write 8-10 notes (mention NPC names naturally)
- Share what felt awesome / confusing
How it works
Start a session, keep notes lightweight, and don't fight your tools mid-game.
Track NPCs at the campaign level, and reference them as you write.
End the session with a recap you can quickly scan before the next one.
- A fast way to capture messy session notes.
- NPCs and campaign info that stays close while you write.
- A clean recap you can skim before the next session.
- Does the campaign → session → dashboard flow feel natural while you're running a game?
- Do NPCs feel easy to create and reference while writing notes?
- Is the recap actually useful right before your next session?
- Does anything feel slow, confusing, or “one click too many”?
- Does backup/restore feel safe and understandable?
Get Involved
Drop your email and I'll send updates + a short checklist when new builds go out. (If you already have access, this still helps me know who's actively testing.)

FAQ
Yes. During the v0.1.x playtest, access is free. My goal right now is feedback: what's confusing, what's missing, and what saves you time at the table.
Your campaigns and sessions are stored locally in your browser (localStorage). Using a different device/browser, incognito mode, or clearing site data will start fresh unless you export a backup.
I review feedback regularly, group it into bugs vs. improvements, and prioritize the stuff that blocks play or causes confusion. If you leave an email, I may reply with a follow-up question or let you know when a fix ships.
